Insurance Providers

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare. If we do not participate with your insurance and your plan allows out-of-network benefits, our office staff may be able to help you receive reimbursement directly from your insurance company. Please call the office to speak with one of our knowledgeable staff members about your individual coverage.

Out-of-State and International Patients

We are honored to be trusted by patients worldwide and routinely provide consultation and surgical care for out-of-state and international patients with spinal problems. The first step is a virtual consultation with Dr. Saadat to discuss your symptoms and review your imaging, and our experienced team will then guide you in the next steps of your care. Policy on Telehealth Case Reviews

During the COVID national emergency, the majority of States implemented waivers to their physician licensing laws which allowed us to be able to provide care via telehealth visits for out-of-state patients. Unfortunately, these waivers have now expired. If you live outside of California and are unable to come to Los Angeles for an in-person consultation, we can still conduct a case review meeting to review your history and imaging with Dr. Saadat, and have a discussion as to whether surgical treatment is reasonable. You will be able to upload your scans to our secure online portal prior to the call with Dr. Saadat. We do charge a cash fee for this case review meeting (which is not considered a formal medical consultation), payable prior to the call.

If after discussing your case with Dr. Saadat, you decide to pursue surgical treatment with our practice, we will then coordinate and conduct a formal consultation in-person at our Los Angeles office. Any necessary updated imaging (xrays, MRI or CT scans) can be performed during your visit to Los Angeles; our experienced team will coordinate this beforehand and guide you through the next steps in this process.
